Alright, I'm going to tell you the story of a pony.
In a far, far land called Ponyville, there were hundreds and hundreds of ponies. There were black ponies, red ponies, yellow ponies, green ponies, white ponies, and blue ponies. There were short ponies, fat ponies, big ponies, and small ponies. Some ponies had long tails and some ponies had short tails. There were lots and lots of ponies there.
And within all these ponies, there was a very, very clever pony. Her name was Ghori. What was her name? Ghori. She was the cleverest pony of all.
All these ponies used to go every day to find food to eat. They would go to the big, big meadow and they would chew the grass, they would run, they would play football. Some of the ponies were very adventurous; they would go and jump into the river and go for a swim.
But there was one big problem. All these ponies could run a lot, but when they would run, especially if the ground was hard, their feet would hurt because ponies did not have any shoes. Whenever they would run, their feet would hurt or get scratched. So they would try and only run in the grass. They could not play any running sport like football or cricket. The only thing they could do is walk slowly, whereas these ponies had a lot of energy. They could run fast, but usually they would not run because their feet would hurt.
So this clever pony, whose name was Ghori, said, "Wow, ponies should be able to run fast. Why are the ponies not able to run fast in Ponyville?"
So she started studying and she asked, "Why, why, why?" And she realized that the ponies have a lot of stamina. They can run fast, but they cannot run without shoes.
Now the problem is ponies cannot wear shoes on their own because they don't have hands. It's not like human beings; they cannot put on shoes and tie laces. The ponies cannot put on their shoes because they have no hands, they only have four legs.
So she thought, "What can I do? What can I do?"
She thought she could take some help from people, from human beings. She had a friend in Singapore, so she called him and that friend came and they decided what to do. They said, "We are going to make permanent shoes for ponies which will stick on their feet forever. And these will be called hoofs."
What will they be called? Hoofs.
So they started designing and then they created this shape which can be stuck to the pony's sole of the foot and it became a hoof. They made a small thing out of metal, out of iron, and it got stuck to the pony's sole.
Then Ghori tried it herself on her foot. It was a bit painful initially because you have to stick it to your foot with super glue. She stuck it to her foot and then she started running, and she could run so fast!
All the ponies saw and said, "Wow, Ghori, how can you run so fast? Don't your feet hurt?"
She said, "No, I've got a special shoe."
They said, "But how can you wear a shoe? You're a pony."
"No," she said, "these are special shoes which you only have to stick one time to your feet. And after that, you don't need to take them out or put them on, they always stay on your feet. They are called hoofs. And I have invented them, I made them myself. They are made out of metal."
Other ponies said, "We also want to try."
But she said, "No, no, you cannot just try. I am making them, you have to buy them from me."
So she started selling horseshoes. They're called horseshoes and they get stuck to the pony's foot. She made a big business out of it. She started selling them along with her friend from Singapore and she made a lot of money. She built a big company to sell hoofs. But while she was making money, she was also helping people with these shoes.
So all the ponies in Ponyville bought the shoe, and from that day, the ponies could run very, very fast, all thanks to Ghori's invention.
And not only did Ghori help everybody, she also built a very, very big company selling horseshoes.
